MY PLETT ADVENTURE LOOKBOOK POWERED BY MOOISTE
My loveliest beings, how art thou? I hope you are having a lovely week. Mine has been so so hectic with the work year coming to an end. However, I am super excited about putting more and more videos up on my channel and having more content up on the blog. My Christmas gift to you all. But, let’s get into the nitty-gritty of this lookbook. Two weeks ago Emmanuel and I went on a weekend takeover in Plettenberg Bay. We attended the 2 day Plett Wine and Bubbly Fest which was all glam and bubbles. I seriously enjoyed this trip because I took some risks with my style choices with the assistance of a lovely store called Mooiste.
PS: Here is my vlog from this amazing trip – VLOG!
This lovely boutique can be found in Stanely Street, Port Elizabeth and they keep you up to date with latest fashions and goodies via there facebook page which you can find right here.
You are probably wondering about their adorable name. The word Mooiste is an Afrikaans word which translates to prettiest in English. I believe it is only fitting! The boutique space is so inviting and has everything from dresses, playsuits, accessories, handcrafted jewelry etc.
ABOUT MY LOOKS
The wonderful Anze (Owner of Mooiste) and I went through a couple of looks for my trip and we landed on these. Currently, a massive trend is the off the shoulder dress was our first pick. Such a winner, don’t you think? We played a little in terms of color. I have found that yellow is my color and I took advantage of this. Such a strong look and I felt very strong it. We ticked the boxes with this one. I paired this look with rose gold earrings which are from Mooiste as well.
My second look for the weekend was such a bold one. I found my strength in the color and pushed the boundary by wearing a more fitted maxi dress. Anze really assisted me in making more daring choices with my colors and her boutique is not short of color. For this look, I completed it with Esperdrals which are very on trend right now. How bold am I though with these tassel earrings?
Fashion Lesson Learned: Take risks, ask for advice and build on your strengths.
PS: Color done right can be your biggest weapon and best friend!
